PILOT ROCK, OR (November 20, 2025) – The Pilot Rock School District (PRSD) is celebrating exceptional results in the latest Oregon Department of Education (ODE) At-A-Glance Profiles, including a perfect 100% On-Time Graduation Rate and strong improvements in academic growth and student attendance.

Key Highlights

  • 100% On-Time Graduation Rate: Pilot Rock High School earned a perfect graduation rate for the 2023–24 cohort, far exceeding the state average of 82%.

  • Five-Year Completion Rate: The district reached 100%, a 4% increase from last year and well above the state average of 82%.

  • 9th-Grade On-Track: Over 95% of 9th graders are on track to graduate, surpassing the Oregon average of 87%.

  • Rising Attendance: Regular Attenders increased by 7%, reaching 72% districtwide, compared to the state’s 67%. Pilot Rock Elementary led the charge with 78% Regular Attenders.

  • College-Going Rate: 26% of students enrolled in college within a year of graduating (2022–23).

Academic Growth

  • Elementary ELA: 4% increase over the past school year.

  • Elementary Math: 6% increase from last year.

  • Elementary Science: More than 15% growth over last year.

  • Grade 8 Math: Over 45% increase from last year, with 50% meeting expectations.

Strong Staff and Career Readiness

PRSD maintains a stable and experienced workforce, with 81% of teachers having more than three years of experience and Pilot Rock High School averaging 89% teacher retention over three years.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving a 100% graduation rate,” said Superintendent Troy Jerome. “Combined with increased attendance and strong academic growth, these results show that our focused efforts are truly making a difference.”

Pilot Rock High School offers advanced coursework through dual credit, the Pilot Rock Virtual Academy, and hands-on Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs in robotics, agriculture, welding, and woodshop, supported by an active FFA chapter.
